Andrews Angels Foundation was founded by Ian Butler in memory of his mother, Katie Andrews. Ian had a challenging childhood, many times moving from one homeless shelter to the next. At a young age, he was adopted by Katie. She showed him through hard work, perseverance and utilizing his talents, he can overcome any situation and obtain what he wants in life. Unfortunately, Katie passed away. Katie has always and still inspires Ian to inspire others through his experiences and challenges growing up.
Andrews Angels Foundation’s main purpose is to inspire children to maximize their potential regardless of their background, upbringing. and/or current situation. Andrews Angels will accomplish this through Ian reaching out to impoverished or underprivileged children and sharing his story of overcoming adversity and empowering the children with the inspiration and drive Katie instilled in him.
